[Roger Davis]

Roger pulled his car into the drive-way of Sammy's house. Not much had changed since his last visit and for that he was glad. Roger took a deep breathe and rang the doorbell, running a hand through his hair as he waited for someone to answer.

Sammy was trying her best to get her shoes on while Hailey sat beside her. "Where you goin' momma?" Hailey asked. "Out with an old friend sweetie, the one I've been telling you about," Sammy answered. "You mean Uncle Roger's back?" Hailey asked, looking up when the doorbell rang. "I wanna get it, I wanna get it," said the small child, rushing over to open the door.

Roger blinked when the door opened, then grinned at the little girl in front of him. "Hi there, you must be Hailey." Hailey smiled, "Yep! And you're Uncle Roger!" Hailey launched herself at Roger and wrapped her arms around his middle. Roger paused before hugging her back.

Sammy chuckled as she came to the door, smiling at the scene in front of her. "She's easily excitable," Sammy said. "You can come in for a little if you like, I'm running a little behind."

[Roger Davis]

"Sure." Roger gently removed Hailey's arms from his waist, then smiled when she immediately grabbed his his hand and began pulling him into the house. "I wanna show Uncle Roger my toys, kay mommy?"

Sammy chuckled softly. "Okay sweetie, just don't keep him back there too long," said Sammy, going back to her stubborn shoes.

[Roger Davis]

Roger smiled indulgently as Hailey showed him her various dolls and stuffed animals. They were sitting cross legged on her purple carpet and Roger was holding a battered teddy bear in one hand and a small teacup in the other. He was sure he looked ridiculous.

Sammy smiled when she was finally ready and came to the door of Hailey's room. Seeing Roger with Hailey like that was adorable in her eyes. "Alright Bug, gotta steal your uncle Roger for a while," she said, picking Hailey up when she ran over. "Be good for Bailey okay?" she said. Hailey nodded. "Kay mommy, loves you." Sammy smiled. "Love you too sweetie, I'll be back later on."

Roger smiled, "I'll come visit you again soon squirt." HE held a hand out to Sammy, "Let's go."

Sammy took Roger's hand, heading out of the house.

Roger helped Sammy into the car, then slid into the driver seat. "So I thought you could recommend a place? I'm not exactly familiar with the restaurants anymore."

"Not much has changed around here," said Sammy, unknowingly playing with the ring she wore on the chain round her neck. "We could go to that place we all used to go to when we wanted to get out for the night."

[Roger Davis]

"Lucinda's?" Roger smiles at a memory. "We spent everyday there during senior year."

[Samantha James]

Sammy nodded. "Yeah, yeah we did, the three of us we inseparable back then."

[Roger Davis]

Roger smiled, "People used to call us the three musketeers."

[Samantha James]

Sammy chuckled softly. "People used to ask me if I was dating both of you or something," she said. "Cause I was never without the two of you."

[Roger Davis]

Roger laughed, "And let's not forget all the people who though Chris and I were your gay best friends."

[Samantha James]

The brunette couldn't help but laugh loudly at the memory. "Oh, that was interesting alright....."

[Roger Davis]

Roger grinned, "Yeah it's funny now. Wasn't so hilarious when Billy Watson broke my nose cause he thought I was checking out his ass."

Sammy nodded. "Made us go down the the ER to get it looked at with you cause you didn't wanna go alone."

[Roger Davis]

Roger pouted, " You know how in love with myself I was. A broken nose could have ruined everything. And then Chris kept telling the nurses that I had gotten into a bar fight."

[Samantha James]

"A bar fight sounds more credible than for supposedly staring at a guys ass, doesn't it?" Sammy replied.

Roger shrugged, "I guess..." He trailed off as the car stopped in front of Lucinda's. "Here we are."
